budget winshield wiper arm build

someone may have done this already but i didnt see it so here you go
i know that wipers on the bronco are junk as well as the rest of you
i have seen the ones that the guy on ebay sells for 70+ bucks and i just cant see spending that on a set of wiper arms so i went out and found i think what he is doing here is what it takes step by step
1 rear wiper arm from 95ish heep cherokee (others may work u will have to check )
2 dill out pop rivit in wiper arm and get arm loose from base
3 pull arm out and cut 2 3/4 inch off of it
4 bend end back up and drill hole for spring to hook back on
put back together and drill hole for rivit to connect the two again
5 pop rivit both parts back together
6 repaint black if you want
7 install on bronco
i have taken some pics that may help
it took me all of about 30 min to do this and it was my first one
you can get 12 inch wiper blades for about 2 bucks and the arms would probably be 2-3 bucks from the scrap yard
so all together you will have about 10 buck in the new wiper set up

Common swap dones a lot its refered to as the cherokee wiper conversion we've been doing it for years and theres writes on it all over the Web. Only downside to it is that cherokee rear wipers can be hard to find the the junkyard. Actualy if you make it right you can use 14in wiper blades

Here's a thread that explains it all. I like the Jeep wiper arms too, you can get them new from Kragen for about $14., just tell them the make and year of the Jeep. It took them 2 weeks to get them for me cause I used 3 wiper arms on the front windshield.
