I am working on what appears to be a 10 year old ford crate motor, its a 5 liter roller motor with the one piece rear main seal. The camshaft was installed without the spider tray in the lifter valley. Well a few of the lifters had turned and ruined the cam, lifters, pushrods. Well I am looking for a good cam recommendation. Like i said it is a roller motor, with a carb and vacuum brakes.
some carnage pictures.

Might help to know what useage this engine will see. tire size, gearing, transmission ect. You may get better suggestions. If near normal useage I would probably just find a HO cam if running a oD tranny then a explorer cam might be a good choice.
