Ouch!

Not easily done. The problem is the inner quarter is also the upper outer quarter. I would be easier to swap out the whole quarter panel assy.

Yeah it's some work I'm also half tempted to just use from the striker post back off my other tub. Then just take te parts that are good on the one that is all rusted off. If I do decided to swap out the whole quarter assembly where do I start and how do I do it

I did the exact same thing with my bronco. Its not easy but it is doable if you take your time. Make sure you take lots of measurements and tack everything and test fit before finish welding. It does look like you have a nice solid used section to start with. I would recomend at least checking your body mounts to make sure they are all good/not falling through the frame because it will make the body twist if they are junk and nothing will fit right. Might be a good time to replace the mounts. I reused my tailgate post to help keep everything alligned because i was worried about getting everything lined up.Good luck

Thanks man yeah it's a new body on a old frame that was sanded wire weekend and rust sealed so I know the body mounts are good. You wouldn't to happen to take pictures of everything did you ?
