sky56,
where did you get your 69? would love to see some pictures.

Kevin,
welcome. if you haven't bought one yet I recommend finding one from out west. I got a Colorado bronco. I paid a bit but the frame and tub are rock solid! those are very important parts if you are not familiar with Broncos. I wasn't and I followed the advice I got on this forum. it cost a bit more on the front end but I am finding it was well worth it. fyi I know a guy that imports them from out west. he doesn't sell unrestored ones very often but once in a blue moon he will. good luck. let me know if I can help you get started. btw I am very new to the bronco and auto repair game but I have found it is a blast.

Kevin,

Welcome to the forum. I'm fairly close to you (West Town) and am fairly new to Broncos, as well. I purchased mine two summers ago but just got it up here last summer. I don't know nearly as much as most of the guys on here, but if you ever wanted to meet up or come see mine, let me know. I remember thinking it would've been helpful to have something to compare what I was looking at to, but no one I knew had a Bronco that I could check out.

My son and I have a 68 bronco. We live in Schaumburg. I grew up on the North side of Chicago . We drive the bronco there a few times during the warmer months.

Good idea Jason.

We should plan on something in the spring when the weather breaks. I can host at my house if need be. I'm located right off 355 and 88. I can probably get 12 or 13 Broncos in the garages/driveway. The really leaky ones can park in the grass.

I'll have the wife on the grill and a full cooler. If enough people want to come, we can roast a pig or something.

You could put me down with a 1967 in Aurora.

There's still too much salt on the streets down by Joliet. We need a good rain to clean the roads.
