Hah! Thanks Tom.
Sorry I missed the window of opportunity to share it in this thread. Would have been nice to savor the moment here with friends. (Instead of actually missing it completely, like I did!)
I've been accused lately of not spending enough time in Chat, so I guess that's my punishment. Seems like by the time I get through a couple of Tech threads, I'm off and running again away from the computer for a while.

And thanks everybody for the kind words and encouragement. It's why I hang out here more than I pay attention to things like bills and other unimportant things! It's even better when we get to meet outside of the computer room.
I did have a chance to spend a great day on my birthday two Fridays ago with 7 other like-minded gents, 6 of whom just happened to be Bronco-brothers (including 904 here) so got my fix in-between

He obviously has too much free time on his hands.;)

Says the man with 18,000+ posts! ;D
And I thought I'd almost caught up with you too, last year before my computer took a dump and I decided to take a break. Come back to find you got turbocharged and left me in the dust!

Thanks again all. Look forward to many more.

Paul

(just to keep track of it for the future, that was 16,006. But it felt like 16,000! ;) )

The amazing thing about Paul's posts is the length of most posts. No cheap one liners for Paul. If we kept track of number of words instead of posts he would be ahead of everyone. Thanks for all the great answers Paul and great job on the post count.

Paul was one of the first guru's to help me with a question when I first arrived at cb. Even though he had probably answered these questions a hundred times prior. I've since discovered the search function and can usually find answers. Always friendly and knowledgeable.

Thanks from a newbie.

Paul is the real deal. I had the pleasure of meeting him in person. He went out of his way to make a visiting Southern Bronco Brother welcome on the left coast.

Thanks for all the help Paul!!! It seems like about 15,999 of those posts were in direct response to some of my issues :)

I also had the pleasure of meeting Paul at Wild Horses last year.

He makes a great ambassador for the Wild Horses brand and the Bronco community.

His tech posts are always detailed, knowlegdeable and to the point. The mile stone of reaching 16k posts on this forum has been achevieved by such posts, rather than the short blips of comments from other "10k plus post" members. Thanks Dirt Donk!

Need to think about how to calculate it, but I'm betting we could find an algorithm to calculate how much time and money Paul has saved everyone in this site with his knowledge, wisdom, and experience in those 16,000 posts.

I know I am much wiser because of him.

Thanks Paul!

I, like so many of you, are indebted to Paul for his helpfulness, knowledge, and probably most important, his patience with both the dumb ass's and smart ass's on this site.
Thank you Paul. You should tell Jim that because of your help and encouragement I have spent thousands on my eb in the last 3 or 4 years. Most of that at WH. Furthermore I had become oddly disgruntled with my eb. One frustrating dead end after another trying to figure this or that out. But because I know I can question Paul (and others here) I don't give up as easily. My eb hasn't been daily driven in over 8 years until recently. I drive it nearly every day now and I attribute that to Pauls help and encouragement.

Paul thanks for being so smart but not being a smart ass.

Thanks again to all of you too. Glad I could help at least some of you some of the time.
Just wouldn't be the same place here without all of us helping each other. Nice way to spend time, throwing ideas out there to bounce off one another.

A great feeling too, each time someone new joins in the discussions. Especially first-timers with a new-to-them Bronco. Just more new friends to add to the mix.
Besides, it's getting harder and harder to fool you old-timers! ;)

Count me in, you and Viper and a few others got me thru my wiring. But I am with Pappit, if off-topic counted we would be the kings of post counts. Probably for the best that we are not.

Hey Tom! This should be 17,000 and counting...
Only too me three months to get here too. Must be slacking off!

Then again, I'm officially going to be slacking off here for awhile, so this worked out good for me. Gave me a nice round number to remember as a point of reference. I need to try to get away and figure out taxes for three people, make sure the termites haven't eaten the house from around me & the computer, and go play with some more Bronco stuff now that so many of my friend's projects are coming to the finish line.
Just going to have to be satisfied with riding shotgun for awhile I guess. But at least I'll be out in some of the sunshine!

Of course, that's just wishful thinking. Like I'm actually going to be able to tear myself away from this place. %)

Thanks! Just trying my best to catch up to Viper and the others. ;D
While trying to remain helpful at least, rather than just counting.

To that end, hopefully I don't have to resort...

... To padding my post count.

Like 67 Half Cab taught me to do! ;)
