My coolant elbow has seen better days. I've cleaned it up, and it's still usable, but I wouldn't mind replacing it with a new one.

Anyone know of a parts source for this?

It's unique because it has two port vacuum switch/sensor bungs.

I'll check the plumbing section of the hardware store to see if there are some parts that can approximate this thing.

The closest Ford part I've seen is the one of the Ranger, however it only has one sensor bung.

Thanks,
Chris

You've got a '76? Or was it a '77?
Never seen one of those on an EB. At least not that I remember. Seen the single hole ones, but not the doubles.

And you had temp switches in both of the ports? I don't suppose you could be lucky and one was plugged?
Probably too much to hope for...;)

Good luck. Sometimes have to make something up with brass fittings, but might have to go to Plan-B this time.
(no idea what that might be though!%))

Plan-B might end up being the junkyard. I know I've seen them, but that's likely because they were common on other Ford products.

Sometimes I wish my buddy with the '77 would not be so quick to throw old stuff away! Might have found one in his old box-o-parts at one time.

It's '76 (hopefully it'll show in my siggy now).

This elbow had two port vacuum switches. One had three vacuum fittings, the other a two. These are emissions related and separate from the distributor advance switch that's on the thermostat housing.

I doubt many of these are going to be in good shape used. I'll reuse this one for now, with plenty of sealant. :)

I'll have to call. Google photos only showed a single port with nippe, but I'll do another search. Thanks though, it's a start!
