Couple questions on EFI and Explorer Conversion

A few questions before I finally get to start the conversion (cracking my ribs this winter has delayed things a bit). I have owned this Bronco since 1988 and it will be my only vehicle once everything is done. I have a 351W with the Lightning Lower and Explorer Upper and will be doing the Explorer serpentine conversion at the same time. I have a Duff hood bubble and a 2" body lift.

-On the EFI Heater tubes: I have the Mustang ones, but would it be worth it to use the Explorer tubes?
-I would like to put new bearings in all the serpentine pulleys. Are the Grainger bearings the best? They were the ones listed in the back of the Tech article.
-Should I use the Exp. Power Steering Pump and Alternator from the donor vehicle or just get new or rebuilt ones? Mileage is unknown on the donor rig.
-I am thinking of using a 1" spacer between the intakes and should have clearance since I am not using the EGR. Thoughts?

Thanks for your help.

Heater tubes--The only benefit to using the explorer tubes is the angle at the rear. It makes it easier to attach to the heater core. The mustang tubes (up to '93) are straight at the back. The mustang tubes also have a provision for the ECT sensor that the explorer tubes do not.

Bearings--I used the Grainger bearings and probably provided the part number in the tech article. I don't know if there are better bearings out there but I have about 15K miles on mine now without problems.

Use the pump and alternator. I flushed my pump prior to installing it. I also took the alternator to be tested.

With your 2" body lift the hood will just clear the intake with the 351w/gt40. The TPS gets very close also. If your bubble opens the space above these areas you'll probably be ok.
