Nice work so far. Im also in middle of doing a ppump 4bt swap in my 76 bronco. I fact I think we actually spoke on the phone when you were selling a bronco back when. I see you have the bcbroncos 4bt prototype kit. I have theirs and locofomocos kit. Plus and minus from both. Ill upload pics when I get home. Im working on getting bcbronco frame plates fitted on my frame and u have to take a chunk of the front corner of the pass side and on driver side I needed to ream the 3 holes a 1/4 lower and grind the slots for the trac bar mount alot. But now I run into issue tha their engine mount doesnt clear my nice steering pump. I just have a reg saginaw style pump off a dodge cummins minus the vac mounted straight to a aux gear mount. If u get the vac steering combo off a 24v it clears bc's mount but I have no reason for vac im doin hydro so thats my last resort.

Im still trying to make that decision now. Both kits are great and I just want to put it out there that im not knocking either company just going to state my opinions.

The black painted setup is the BCbroncos the raw steel is the LOCO setup.

Right away biggest difference is BC kit seems to have more thought into it for stiffing the entire front end along with steering box but looks like not as much time went into actually making the products.

LOCO kit is thicker its 1/4 instead if 3/16 and are nice bent rounded laser cut pieces that come un welded but dont provide as much frame stregnth and u have to determine where to mount them. That was the MAIN benifit of the BC kit was it bolts in first then u weld so it determined where to mount it so you dont have to. They both came with the same rubber mounts. BC kit comes with 6 bolts 3 to replace steering box bolts which is where everything bolts to and comes with inner frame gussets. I added the lil trangle gusset on the bc frame mount between the mount and frame plate

The main problem with the BC kit that im having is that their driver side engine mount is to tall and it hits my nice steering pump that I finally gathered together. The LOCO kit just clears it by a hair with a couple threads grinded off the rubber mount stud.

Maybe I will be able to mix the 2 kits and use the LOCO, engine mounts with the BC frame mounts and crossmember. Or I can use the BC entire kit and just get a new vac power steering combo pump that moves it rearward so I would have clearence but I have no need for vac so id just put an air filter on it. Also stinks cuz LOCOs crossmember looks bada$$$!

Sorry ProjectCumminsBronco to hijack your thread but hey you might find this info helpful

As we speak im in the process of fitting the BCbroncos frame mounts and cross member in and am getting very fustrated with fitments and alignments. The point of their kit was to save the time and fabrication time and I feel its probably already taken 4x the amount of time to just weld LOCOs frame mounts in and add some gussets to stregnthen them.
