Cutting a clean hole

I was agreeing with BAX I don't think the hole is going to work to well since you not enlarging much ....going to be tough ...

I like the Knock-outs or punches myself, but your situation is going to need the big Unibit. They are kinda expensive but you will find you can use them more than you think.

I use a Manual Greenlee Punch Set for my job all the time, on all different gauges of sheet metal, it works great. Definatley the right tool for the job you want to do, NOT a hole saw, it will float around on you, the Unibit would work too, if you get one big enough. The Manual Punch Set is $88.00, but cuts clean whole and will last forever if you take care of it. Your best bet.

I have and use knockouts frequently, my only problem with them is the limited size range, since they only come in the OD dimensions of ridgid conduit/pipe.
