has anybody used a Nylock nut to hold the Yoke on the Dana 20. Instead of the top lock old style?

Dana 20 rebuild question

I would be afraid of the heat generated and degrade the nylon. Maybe in a pinch to get me home.
My local Ace hardware had the all steel ones 3/4"-16 NF.
Ace even had the "O" ring that goes behind the washer! 1.200" OD x .140" thick.
