Dana 30/44 hub spindle question.

In plugging away at my Dana 30 to 44 conversion I have cleaned up the parts from the various axles I've gathered. The Dana 30 has six hole spindles, will those 30 spindles work on the drum brake 44 that I'm putting together? Also the hubs off the old 30 are the cleanest ones I have. Can I use those on the 44 spindles if I had to, or are the 30 hubs different than the 44 hubs? Thanks for the input!

Use your 30 parts.

FYI, the disk conversion kit for a 30 will also work on a 44. I disked my 30, blew it up, used the same spindles and brakes on the bare knuckle 44.

There might be a few differences in parts just due to the changes over years but I completely expect them to work. Did you know that at one time they made from the factory a few Dana 44 axles with dana 30 outers on them? The stuff is really interchangeable.
