Dana 44 ball joint preload nut size?

I need help to find the size of the receiving threads in the top of my Dana 44 housing that takes the preload nut. When removing the knuckle to install new ball joints i had issue with the removal of the preload nut and would like to clean the threads with a tap before installing the new parts.
