Differences in Ginger Dash Pad (Repro vs Just Dashes)

A while back I bought a reproduction ginger dash pad. Recently the dash pad was installed but coloring didn't look correct (too light). So, I had "Just Dashes" do one in ginger and the coloring difference is very noticeable (looks great).

Wondering if the reproduction pad is Light Saddle, not ginger?

I think the only difference is the finish, eggshell vs semi gloss, the tint looks the same on both to me. That said, the right picture does look off, but again, mostly due to finish, I like the bottom one first photo. I would say top one first pic is defective.

Why not just use the SEM vinyl dye?

Chances are your arm rest's will not match either color.

I had the armrests and all the plastic interior trim for the doors & seats done at Just Dashes to match their dash pad.
