Finally started back in this build again.

So far I have been narrowing the front clip and acquiring some more parts for it.

Started on the engine cage to mount the radiator and steering res

Then mocked up the winch just to get some motivation.

Started working out the steering. Ended up not having the right high steer arms and had to order some new ones. Went with the WFO steering arms to get close to right throw for a 8” ram. Got the tie rod pretty parallel and in the center. Looks ok

I have about a < 10 degrees on the tie rod when the ram is full extended, is that to much angle?

That’s pretty good. I’ve done more than that and it worked just fine
Thanks for the help/ sanity check. I have been going back and forth with it. There’s not a ton of actual mounting info on the web since psd took down all their mounting instructions for legal reasons.

Broke out the 3d printer to try out some brackets for the PS res. The p pump bracket for the explorer serp doesn’t give you a lot of option with it being so high up to keep the res above the pump. I’m hoping once I narrow the proflow hood it will cover most of the res, but it will probably need to be notched. Up next is getting orbital mounted up.

I’m curious what you come up with. I’m going to have the same set up eventually (explorer

serpentine with wild horses Saginaw bracket on a 351W). Before I had a Mustang serpentine with my pro flow hood 2 inch body lift.
