Eyebows, forward mounted shocks, straight t-case shifter, good stuff. We won't worry about the hood features, :p but it's all stock and all original, and for the most part all rusty.

I'd like to know just how early it is overall among Bronco's existing today, especially among half cabs.

6065th vehicle off the line. Since Broncos and trucks were built on the same line it wasn't the 6056th Bronco. Probably more like the 1000th Bronco.

So what does that mean for my #36? It could have been 2nd, 3rd, 10th off the line? A lot of the '66 ads featured a red wagon, hmmmmm, maybe mine?;D;D;D

I know where U13FL777839 is, is a roadster but dont know how early of a roadster it is or how rare it is. Does the vin indicate the numerical build order?

777839 is the sequential part of the VIN. Looks like Nov '65.

It's 45K after all previous trucks and Broncos that rolled down the Michigan Truck assembly line. Probably no way to tell how many Broncos came before it since a fire destroyed most of Ford's records from that era.

So the 732000 on the "shelby bronco", has anyone actually seen the vin tag, or is it just an assumption?

Went to the local cruse in tonight and a Bronco that is right here in the area showed up; one that I didn't know about! It was a very original '66 roadster, Vin # U13FL735755. It had the bright work package (chrome bumpers, horn ring and taillight bezels), and bucket seats and rear seat......60 some odd thousand actual miles, really clean!!!
It was neat to talk to the guy. He knew he had a neat solid Bronco, but he didn't know anything about a "Roadster" .......especially, that he had one!!! Someone had removed the inserts and added doors and it still had an excellent mirror on the fender! Sorry about the absence of pictures.......I didn't have my good camera, only the iphone... DWALKER was also there.....maybe he got pics and can post them!!!

Nice find here!!!! The soft top looks to be an original black Whitco. Not sure unless I can see the back window.

This one has been parted out. I bought the eyebrow grill and roadster mirror.
