A few pictures of the beginning of the metal replacement of the tub of a '72 sport. The owner is doing his chassis restoration and probably getting a buddy of his to do the paint. We are doing the metal replacement;installing "patch panels" in the front floor pans, kick panels, inner fenders...

That's cool. I'm a welder /fabricator and I don't have a garage big enough to go through all that. My plan is to have a whole new one built.

My bad, if you check the last page of his thread, he gives a rundown of the problems with a store bought (Dennis Carpenter) body, thought it may give you some insight as to what you get when buying a "complete" body. I've seem a Northeast unit by Nick and a friend bought a NE unit, both were well built!! Good luck!!!

Thank you. It qill probably be a NE or Rustbelt. Either one I can bring my chassis and have them set it. Thanks for the response.

They were almost spot on about their 6 month lead time from when I put my order in. The old man gave me a quick tour of the place. They have some really nice builds going on in there. Coyote swapped monsters on new frames with high dollar interiors, etc.

Given the price that a nicely done Bronco brings these days, spending $11,000 on a tub isn't that bad of an idea.
