The 2-wire Crankshaft Position Sensor has two dedicated pins in the ecu but the 2-wire Camshaft Position Sensor only has one dedicated pin, can someone confirm if the 2nd wire goto the signal return?

EECV is kind of vague, how about a engine size and model year??

2000 Explorer 5.0 would probably suffice, however it's a 89 fox, 2000 explorer top end, coil packs, cam sensor & 2003 mercury marauder EEC-V. Quarterhorse running RZASA strategy.

All the EEC-V pinouts I saw are the same with a 2 wire CAM sensor with only 1 dedicated pin.

Found the answer @ eectuning.org
1999-UP Explorer 5.0L cam sensor:
DK BLU / ORG --> CAM SENSOR SIGNAL TO EEC
GRY / RED --> EEC SIG RTN

Lucky your OE wires had color. The donor I got mine from had 2 black wires.... so when I was connecting them of course I had a 50/50 chance of hooking them up correctly... well, another reason I don't bet on anything... it wasn't correct. lol

Through my timing off so that on my intial startup it backfired and it bent the Throttle Plate valve in my 90mm Throttle body back at a 30deg angle. lol

So I swapped the two wires and it worked perfect.
