1975, new Centech harness. Do both the turn signal indicator lights come on in the stock configuration on the instrument display when the headlight switch is activated?

No.
I am thinking you have the instrument panel illumination lights switched with the turn signal ones?

From the Centech instructions:

5. Snap the lamp with the dark blue "RT TURN" wire into the RTS opening. The lamp with the light blue "LT TURN"
wire goes into the LTS opening and the green "HBI" snaps into the HBI opening.

6. Locate the three gauge lamp sockets with the black (GND) and dark green (GAUGE LAMPS) wires. Snap these into
the three openings shown as GL in Figure 1. Note the different wire lengths.

Are you sure the turn signals are the bright ones though? Since the indicator lamps being on with the headlights won't stop the turn signals from flashing if they're simply reversed, you'll still get the lights flashing.
But you'll in fact be getting the bright filament lit with the running lights, and the dim filament flashing with the turn signals. Hard to tell the difference unless you're checking real close.

When you turn the signals on, do either of the turn signal indicator lights flash also? Or do they just stay solidly illuminated while the turn signals do their thing?

sounds like a bad ground or missing the cardboard tubes isolating the lamps from each other

Good catch Sir... Grounds are always suspect on a Bronco.

Did not even think about the lack of cardboard tubes causing light feedback to other indicators...

Bad grounds at the front park lights will cause current to flow through the turn indicators to get to ground.
