The mustang/explorer ecm "computer" connectors are different pin count so I'd say no.

Why not just use the explorer harness and pick up an eec from an explorer?

60 pin = Mustang, 120 pin = Explorer. One will not plug into the other. Pin size and count are different.

It's possible to take about any other 60 pin harness and make it a Mustang harness as long as you have the wiring diagrams for both. I just took a 96 speed density van harness and turned it into a SN95 Mustang harness running a TM04 ECM

Well looking at what I have I am stuck.. I got efi years ago from an explorer but apears its not complete. It has the computer for auto, coils, only the engine part of the harness nothing else.

With the recent purchase of my f250 with efi conversion I now have a usable mustang computer, also have upper for it and distributor

So either way additional harness is going to be needed with either system

I have a 96 Explorer computer, and will swap for the Mustang one if it helps. Do you have any part of the Mustang harness?
