Running sanderson headers on this motor swap with GT40P heads. Am I needing to run certain plug wires?

With the Sanderson header I don't believe you need anything special. With that said, and when using any type of header due to a better heat loss I prefer to use a quality high heat plug wire and even a heat retardant boot. I have wasted too many plug wires that have laid up on a header to count.

Good luck, you will love that explorer 5.0

I didn't need anything special when I did the same setup as you described.

Another one for those following. Oil Pickup tube the same as the bronco 302 on this motor? Or do I need the specific one for this year? I imagine it just differs due to pan design?

Are you using the factory Bronco pan? Then use the factory Bronco pick up

If Explorer pan, whether it is steel or aluminum, use the pickup that came with them.
