Flat towing with C4/203/D20 doubler

Disconnect the rear driveshaft at the axle, tie it up. Unlock the front hubs, and drag it as far as you want.

For short distances you can leave the driveshaft and just put the D20 in neutral, but the bearings don't get lubed properly with just the output turning.

Ya, what he said. Years ago I flat towed mine from Houston to Gatesville(about 240miles).
The output bearing and seal was shot. Now I disconnect the driveshaft. Just dont install a yoke guard if you plan on flat towing. PIA to disconnect/connect. Also make sure the tow vehicle is heavier than the Bronco. Wet roads can make for an exhilerating trip, even with a 4door dodge diesel(light in the rear)

I would need to see the inside of the 203 doubler. If that will lube properly in nuetral then C4 in park, D20 in 2HI and 203 in nuetral. I just have not been inside the 203 reduction box to know how it will stay lubed with just the output spinning.
