A couple of years or so ago, I saw a picture where someone had rigged their dash to fold down to facilitate switches, wiring, etc. Can someone point me in the right direction on finding that build or post?
Thanks!

That may be the picture I remembered. Will the dash rotate up into place on the lower brackets? Leave the top bolt out of the brackets?

The top bolt of course goes in once you rotate it back in place. The main thing is to leave out the screws that go from the top of the dash into the windshield frame. Then it is only a matter of removing the steering column , disconnecting the defroster hoses, etc. and removing the top two bolts on the lower dash bracket in order to lower the dash. Still a lot of work, but way easier than lifting the top to get the windshield forward so you can remove those !@#$ screws between the dash and the windshield frame.

I cut the dash into 2 pieces in anticipation of the front cage install. It allows dash removal without removing cage or steering column.
1st pic is Green77. Other pics is The Firebronco.

That's what I showed up there in my build thread, BUT the key thing is to remove the sheet metal screws that go across the top of the dash pad. Otherwise you will be removing the top to fold down the windshield so you can remove those screws....all before you get to the point of the fold-down dash. The sheet metal screws, remove them or suffer!
