Last road trip we went on in the bronco netted 12.5mpg. Avrage 55-60mph. Running 31's, 4.57 gears, c4 with shift kit. .30 over 302, headers, alum intake and 600cfm holley 4160 vacuum secondary carb, manual choke.
302 slightly built cam heads headers 525cfm road demon., NP435, 33in tires, 3.50 gears was getting 13-14 in town and 14-17 on the hiway. But that was with 33x10,50's now have 12.50's and havent really checked but I think the mileage has gone down.
While broncs wont get stellar mileage most fairly stock ones should be able to get 13-14. Its all in the tuning.
