Well, got my build sheet yesterday. What a disappointment. :cry:

Doesn't look like they tried very hard to give much information:

* 92" wheel base. (big surprise...huh)
* New Lime exterior color. (Wrong, it was Pinto Yellow)
* Parchment Interior Trim.
* Oil Bath air cleaner.
* Ford Manual 3 speed transmission.
* 3.50 Rear Axle.
* 7.50 X 16-4 Tires. Mud & Snow tread.
* Radio.
* Free running front hubs.

Not much info, and certainly not anything I didn't already know. Waste of my time and theirs.

Got mine this week. Ordered it in mid January. Very accurate compared to the order sheet I got from the original owner. Came from the factory with the hand throttle but the PTO winch was added by the dealer. Not any new info but still interesting to see and cool to have.

Now this was interesting to me, just to see what was going on in the world the day my Bronco was built, which happened to be on a Saturday, back when a loaf of bread was .24, a stamp was .06 and a gallon of gas was just .36 :eek:

Jun 20 - Oriole's Brooks Robinson get his 2,000 career hit, a 3 run HR Jun 20 - "Ray Stevens Show," debuts on NBC-TV Jun 20 - British govt of Edward Heath forms (with Margaret Thatcher).

There may be some better what was happening on any given date sites, but this was the one I used.

I'm sure it was due to the lack of knowledge from the intern at Ford. I say Intern as her handwriting is very similar to that of teenage girls when I was in high school. BIG SWOOPY letters.

It looks like they were pretty right on for the most part. I do know that my grandfather purchased it new on 7/28/1967 at Phil Long Ford in Colorado Springs so they might even have the build date right which I was having trouble figuring out since I have the elusive B in my consecutive number. If the non-telescopic mirrors part means the same thing as "roadster mirrors" then they even got that. Not to sure about where they are saying it was built though. Phew too much typing. :)

I like the designation of non-telescopic mirrors. Thats funny as the remote chrome mirror on my 73 was certainly not telescopic....I pulled and pulled on it and it stays put. Oh well. I have seen a pic of a Roadster with the adjustible height mirrors, but I figured they were an owner added feature. I wonder if any Roadster folk have a Ford Report or Marti Report stating Telescopic Mirrors? Anyone? Bueller?

Called in my order yesterday. Got a callback regarding 3-4 week delay due to "third-party research" within Ford due to the age of the vehicle.

Worthy of framing once it arrives?
