Got a 74 bronco either a 3 on the tree shifter. Any reason why I shouldn’t move it to the floor. Just more used to a floor shifter. I converted my 56 F100 that way and really like it.

I've had a 3 on the floor conversion before. It was a Duff kit. Biggest draw back in my opinion is that you have to add onto the trans tunnel - they sale the add on piece. It's not a big deal, just doesn't look so good.

Hi, I also have the Duff shifter. Mine is from the 1980s. It is a quality Hurst shifter with a custom bent arm to move the lever away from the driver. I have been very happy with it. You do have to cut the tunnel and install the fiberglass cover. Good luck

I have the Duff shifter also, no issues other than none of the pre-made flooring kits fit the new front tunnel
