Front axle replacement

Bit of background on my Bronco, I’m running 37’s, C4, Atlas, 408w, Duff extended arms, and 5.5” coils. My front dana 44 has a loose tube from either an earlier accident or just age. I picked up a ford dana 60 but it is from a mid-80’s F-350, so it won’t really work. I’m trying to figure out which way to go now.

Thinking either another 44, a 60 or a 9”, all high pinion to help with driveline angles. A 60 would be overkill for my 9” rear but the front axle should be trouble free. A 44 from Currie should be good as I don’t see me going larger than 37” tires, but is it worth the price? I’m thinking the 9” might be the solution but having a hang-up on the housing. I’d like to retain the duff arms, so need to stick with 3” or lower tubes. Unless I’m missing something, I think Trail Gear and Western Differential are the only ones that show tubes that size. Everyone else has 3.5” tubes.

Or should I suck it up just replace the suspension and stick with the 9” and 3.5” tubes?

That much motor, that much tire, and sounds like you actually use it off-road...
The 60 is the answer. Now how you do a 60, that can carry on for pages.
