Front sway bar with shock hoops?

Can I put the Hellwig front sway bar on my 1966 bronco if I’m not using the forward shock mount on my shock hoops? I’ve heard mixed info. They are the James duff front extended travel shock hoops and I only use the 2 shock mounts behind the coil spring. I have 3.5 suspension lift.

My truck also stays on the road.

If someone has done this can you show a pic.

have you already reached out to JD? they may be able to tell you what needs to be modified since they mention it on their hellwig details.

I’ve asked them in the past and it was more of an answer of sometimes it will work and sometimes not. That’s why I’m trying to gather personal experiences and what they have done to make it work.

This what I did to use my WH shock hoop. I kept the rear portion in place and used the front section to connect it to the spring mount.

As long as there are different ways to build a bronco, there will always be mixed info.
Are you building yours, and if so, have you installed the lower front shock mount onto the tip of the radius arm? Are you using stock radius, arms?
Have any pictures of your set up?

I don’t remember for certain, but it seems like most of the ones that I’ve had issues, already had the lower tab welded to the radius arm. Some had to remove that first. But it seems like after that, the sway bar fit no problem?
What about yours?

And last, but not least, have you mocked everything up yet?
Or are you still in the purchasing stage?
