I'm currently doing the new fuel system for my Holley Sniper, and want a clean look from the frame rail to the carb. How have you run the lines there? From the front where the old fuel pump was, or along the firewall? Pix would be nice. Thanks

SS Braid and AN Fittings from back to front.

I moved the line to the outside of the frame rail after the front leaf spring mount then back to the top of the frame at the shock mount. It then follows stock routing keeping it away from heat.
The fire wall gets pretty hot. I didn't want the fuel line getting heat soaked there but it gets damn hot by the header too....
I stayed off the firewall but you can make it work. Others have. The oem fuel injection stuff is often ran that way.

Routed mine on top of the frame after doing a 1" body lift. I also did an in the tank pump. Switch to firewall on drivers side. Crowded with accelerator linkage and brakes. Just wanted to stay away from exhaust as much as possible. Couldn't run on outside of drivers frame rail due to auxiliary fuel tank still in place.

Thanks guys. Specifically looking for ideas from carb to frame. I've already run the lines from the tanks to the engine compartment frame. I looked at running them like the stock lines, but with the return lines it looks crowded and sloppy. Along the firewall I worry about heat from the headers. I'd like a clean look.

Long time ago, different throttle body EFI, still the same.
Back of the intake up toward the master cylinder and outside the steering shaft. Follow the park brake cable down to the frame.

Tucked out of the way and about as far from the exhaust as possible.

I would go with header wraps if that is your concern. And follow the routing suggested by Broncobowsher. Same as mine. Firewall is crowded.

No way to run two big lines to the intake without some visual barriers. You can get away with a tiny unobtrusive line when you only need 8 psi. I have been saving photos of clean engine compartments from various hot rods for a while. All the super clean ones are conventional carbs. On the EFI there is always those big fuel lines. If you find a pic of a clean Spartan set up with EFI, please share.

I am wrapping my headers in DEI titanium wraps (no soaking in water) and covering lines in a heat shield similar to gddyap
