I noticed gas smell in garage after filling the main tank up for the first time.

The leak is coming from the positive and ground pigtail prongs, not the o-ring. Is there an easy fix or do i need to drop the tank and install new sender again?

I don't know the answer to your question, but wonder why you''d need to drop the tank to install a sender. I recently did that on my 70 Bronco with the tank in place.

Good to know I didn’t want to have to drop the tank.
