Well, I was a little too fast on the button. I just got my call back.

They will discount the kit 10%, which means the kit will cost $80.99....call it $81. There is a walloping $8.95 handling fee for all the kits shipped TOGETHER so that needs to be divided up (call it .50) for a total of $81.50 just to make it easy.

This would be the total less UPS ground from Columbus OH to you. If you want to save on the shipping a little, find, a local friend who has a legitimate storefront bonified business.
I didnt ask what it weighs, but maybe HW knows that. With that info you can log into, or call UPS and get a shipping estimate. That will be your total. We can discuss the payment later. If you use Paypal to get the money to me, there might be another small fee. Perhaps the easiest thing is to get money orders, anyway.....

If you are curious, and HW can validate this, if you ordered directly from Summit it would cost you $89.99 for the kit + $8.95 for shipping for a total of $98.94. plus tax in OH or NV.

If anyone on the current list wants out, let me know.....if you've been waiting on a total before you decide, now's your time!

Summit has 25+ in stock but some of them have to come from NV, so that will take time. As long as we work this out and have a total by August 1, we should be ok. Once I have these in my hands I can ship as I get $$.

WELL??? :-*

J. R.

almost forgot.......the other kits (Mustangs) listed on the other thread would be discounted 10% also but it needs to go in all together (same order)

I'm still in. What kind of premium do you need to cover the paypal costs. It's a pain in the butt to chase down a cashiers check (plus it doesn't really protect you that much anyway, they can be canceled). Paypal only takes 10 seconds, so it's worth the buck or two convenience expense (only my opinion).

Thanks for doing the legwork to make this buy a reality! Just post the paypal total and where to e-mail the funds and we can start things going.

Thanks again.

I just did some research. Since I have a Premier Acct (so I can take credit cards) they charge me 2.2% + .30 to receive.
This would add about $2.25 to each kit for those who want to use PP. I used an estimated total of $90 for the kit and shipping. I'll have an exact amount once I get the kits and can prep them for shipping.

Looks like the easiest thing to do is for me to front the money, buy the kits, calculate individual shipping and collect funds then. After I have the $$, I will ship the kits.

Only those paying with Paypal will have a slight fee of $2.25 for that. I'd eat the fee, but by the time 10-20 people pay with Paypal, I'd eat about $50.

Right now all we need to do is get an exact count. I think the end of July looks good for a cut off date unless there is a reason to extend. As I mentioned, Summit will have to get them together and ship them to a point I pick.

Once I have the kits I will ask one favor of everyone buying.
I'll need name, and complete shipping address. No PO Boxes (UPS rule). The addresses can be emailed to me.
I'll give a format of how they are to look.
I use a Seiko labeler and I can cut and paste the name/address from the email to the label, or UPS deal and off it will go.
It will be easy for you all and make it a LOT easier for me.

I'll see if I can get the "it's a go on the Blue Hoses" posting up today. I dont know how to get it made into a sticky.

Any ideas?
Any problem with a July 31 deadline? (like 3am EST)

I'd like to make a back up plan in case the one I have planned now falls through.

Anybody in Michigan that is near or might be going to the Woodward Dream Cruise?

I'll front the money, just need to have someone reliable to accept the shipment and make arrangements with me to make the swap.
Looking for sometime mid August. The Dream Cruise is 8/21 and it llooks like I'll be there Friday, Sat &Sun?

The next option would be anybody near an Ohio border say within 2 hr drive from Columbus.

Let me know!

I'm gonna sit this one out. I'll prolly order the later this year, but I have other priorities right now, like re-building axles.

Also just for comparison I called Autozone to get a price on the kit and they want 120 for it. Granted I had to call 2 different Autozones to get someone that knew how to look up parts direct from the manufacturer, but I finally got my answer.

Anyway getting the axles under the Bronco is the first priority right now.

summitt sells them for $89. Mass buy price should be somewhat lower than $120.

I am still in. I would like to use PayPal. But I am not sure how I do that since I have only done it for Ebay purchases. Hopefully you can advise on how to do it. Thanks Dave

Re: I'll take a set! How 'bout free shipping?

Or even a price discount for mass buy!

Thanks!

we are getting 10% off at $81.50

If you were to buy these yourself it would cost you $99

We get one free shipping, as a unit. The shipping will be to reimburse me for shipping to you.

Hey, how come this isn't a sticky posting so everyone will always see it until the mass buy is over?

Admin - can you keep this on the front page for awhile so any interested folks can join in?

Thanks

I was waiting on a response to make sure I can get a "recipient" in Michigan.
