I know it was talked about. There might be a thread where someone started. But never heard of one running yet. Specs look good, intake height looks to be a challenge. Have not looked into the latest aftermarket in the past year or so.

I see some shops have a lower intake, then it might fit. Also the control pack and ecu finally came out.

This is the thread where it was talked about some:

https://classicbroncos.com/forums/threads/ford-godzilla-crate-engine.312109/

I’m about 50/50 on whether or not I’ll put a Godzilla in mine down the road. If I do, it will probably be supercharged. Right now, I finally just got my new 427W Stroker in my garage, so it will certainly be a while, but I’ll be mindful of creating room for a Godzilla during my install.

Which transmission are you going to pair with the Godzilla?

I wished they would have just made a more compact single cam motor, an LS killer. The Godzilla is still a large motor.

Godzilla with a 10r 80 behind it. I'm interested.

As I understand it the Ford control pack is for the 10R140 which is like 8 inches longer than a 10r80...which leaves you without a controller for the 10r80...that I know of. I still think the Godzilla with a 6R80, or the Tremec 4050 5 speed would be a beast in an early Bronco. I am a long way down the road on a Coyote swap and I keep watching progress on 7.3 very carefully...I am very tempted to put my motor/trans/control pack up for sale and make the pivot, but its too cost prohibitive and I have too much on backorder to start over.

That’s why I’m waiting a while. I’ll let someone else who’s better funded than me figure it out. Maybe someone will provide more support for a Godzilla 6R80 combo. I don’t want 10 gears.

So could you run the Godzilla control pack for the 10R140…but just stick a 6r80 behind it running off a Quick 6 controller? Or would you need the manual control pack assuming they make one?

That does look like a nice intake! Super short runners, but I guess when it's 7.3L you aren't as worried about that.
