I have a 1971 Bronco and just took ownership 2 months ago, Blinks and Hazards working fine unitl last week i started it up and it hazards would not turn off. The hazard knob is fully pushed in and wasnt used recently. When driving my turn signals wont work due to the hazards. Also when my foot is on the brake both turn lights say illuminated and stop blinking. My bronco does have 2 batteries with a kill switch to the one tied to the ignition and supposedly the hazard lights, as when i turn on the Kill Switch it shuts the blinking off. Any suggestions on fixed?

Is this dash mounted hazard switch or column mounted switch?
I know the year should tell me, but so many Broncos have had stuff swapped around over the years it is just better to ask.

The turn signal indicators stopping when you push the brake pedal is standard operating procedure for these old setups. The turn signals cannot override the hazards, but the brake lights do.
To at least to temporarily disable the hazards, remove the flasher unit under the dash.
Should be two flasher units. One for the turn signals, one for the hazards/4-ways. In fact, try swapping them over to see if the problem follows the flasher. That would be too easy of course, but at least if it turns out to the the flasher, you're back in business in no time.

Sounds to me like the hazard switch on the dash has failed. But I can't say that I've EVER seen that happen before. At least not on any Bronco in the last 50 years!
Doesn't mean it can't happen. Just means that it's probably fairly rare.
But it's also an easy fix...

Sounds like a failed hazard switch on the dash. Should be able to unplug it and everything else work normal.
Hazard takes a blinking power and sends it to the brake output (like you are tapping the brakes) and to the front turn signals (3 outputs). Splices all 3 together when on. When you press the brake you provide a continuous power to the brake lights, that is spliced (inside the hazard switch when on) to both front turn signals. So the front turns stay on with the brakes pressed. All normal stuff. Unplugging the hazard switch breaks the internal splice and the brakes no longer power the front turn.

In column hazard is more difficult since it is now part of the turn signal switch and no real way to isolate.
