Looking for some pics fo Heim Joint DOM Steering. Interested in the connecting bolts and spacers. How did you attach stabilizer shock to steering?

I'm putting that on now (TRO). Here's what I did: Drilled knuckles and pitman arm out to 3/4", on the pass side the heim sits directly on the knuckle with an alignment between it and the drag link heim, then another alignment, then the nut. The driver's side has no alignment, just the heim straight on the knuckle bolted down. On the pitman arm there a heim with alignments on either side of it mounted under the pitman arm. Pretty simple, I'll post what pics I have on my phone here in a second...

Oh, and I'm not using a stabilzer, just doing a ram

Here's what I got. It's not welded in the pic, but I didn't change anything before I did.

I guess the proper name is misalignment, not alignment. Regardless, here's a pic. As you can see the pitman arm is basically the same as the pass knuckle, except there's only one heim there.

I got all my stuff from PSC, but they're only about an hour down the road from me. Ruff Stuff sells a nice kit, and you can also look at Bulletproof steering. The one difference in mine vs the ruffstuff kit is they use a high misalignment. I've never used or installed their kit, but I believe they have the installer use them on the pitman arm end. Kinda hard to describe, but the high misalignments plug into the heim joint which reduces the inside diameter of the hole. Meaning, you'd use a 5/8" bolt instead of a 3/4" bolt. Might not be that big of an issue for a street rig, but on the rocks that bolt will probably snap after too long especially when you throw a ram into the mix. I chose to try just a normal height misalignment on the pitman arm end, and see how my angles are flexed out and go from there. If it doesn't work I'd need another pitman arm and the high misalignments to fix it.

Not quite sure what you're asking about on the track bar, but I have a WH riser with a bump stop behind it. The riser actually gives a good spot to weld the ram mount to so it's a good product. Much better than going with a drop bracket.

Should have been more specific. I have the Ruffstuf Heim Steering setup. It uses 3/4" bolts. The bracket above is for the steerin stabilizer.
