I just bought a turn signal cam from WH a week ago. I thought it was the wrong switch, because mine was so butchered that I didn't realize it was the right thing. But they also told me, that the only difference between a 66-73 (I think) was the color of one wire, otherwise it was all the same. They also told me "hey, no problem, if it's not the right thing just let us know and we'll fix you up". I was happy to hear that, and they were very nice about it.

I have had good dealings with Jeff's in the past, but I've never had problems with an order. It's too bad, really.

Either way you look at it, they are not responsible for your shop guy for 2 reasons:
1. you should do the work yourself ;D

2. Whatever you do to get your truck worked on is your problem. You shouldn't have a guy waiting on parts anyways. "needing" to get it worked on is just being impatient, sorry. You could have waited until monday and had no problems. I don't see it as Jeff's...or anyone elses problem that you had your shop guy working overtime. Sometimes, parts places make mistakes, and you should account for that. Not saying that what they did is ok, but your shop/your work/your problem.

Indian Harbour Bch,
I jsut placed an order with Jeff;s and nothing was wrong with it. I've ordered many parts from them in the past and everything was in order.
I hate hearing about bad stories, cuz it only make sme rethink ordering rfmo some folks. I will order from JBG again, but hearing these nasty stories does make me think twice.....$.02

I was ragging on them earlier in this post, but Mark did call me back today.

He was surprisingly polite and did his best to appease me. They have won back a lot of my respect.

Since I cut the cowl before I test fit it, I own it.

He did say that he has sold some 60 of them and that noone else had mentioned anything as to a bad fit! If any of you have one, and are having the same problems I am, you really need to let them know! If not, they will keep making a product which we can't use!!!!

I guess I will have to dive into the bowels of my garage and see if that pannel will fit my tub. I buy parts I need and toss them into the garage and slam the door behind me before the pile of parts grab me and tell me to get my butt in gear on my rusty project. I have the most useless garage ever built and is good for nothing but storing parts. It will be a good garage if Ford ever brings back the model T. Well it sounds like the JBG staff got a switching.

%)

without have'n a tape of the conversation it's hard to know who was being respectful or who was being rude... BUT who ever is on the other end of the telephone, if they are rude to me I personally will do NOTHING for anybody on a phone or in person that is disrespectful.

A problem is a problem, but respect for a fellow human being is 1st and for-most in my book!!!

If they were rude to you for no reason... BY ALL MEANS give them none of your business... But if Ed McMan was at my door with his big check I'd still slam the door in his face if he was rude about it. Be'n a dick on the phone to anybody gets you no-where... ever! Any situation can be resolved calmly, and hardly any problem can be solved with insults and accusations.

As for wasted shop time... in the future have your shop guy order the parts, then it's HIS mistake and comes out of HIS pockett.

I have had great dealings with Jeff's and will NEVER have ANY PROBLEM giving them my business or recomending them to a friend!!! I think they are an outstanding sorce for parts and for the most part have the best price on things. but that's me I guess.

Hands down Jeff has the largest selection at the best prices which is what matters to most people. The best thing to do is order online for accuracy, then in your order comments let them know any special instructions like wanting the order shipped all at once or in chunks depending on BO status.

I assure you Jeff does not want to drive people away and 99% of JBG's orders are shipped trouble free. If you have a gripe take it up with them rather than flaming here.

%) ^^^^^^^^^^ THAT FRIGGIN PISSES ME OFF!

If you go to the broncograveyard.com they say "2003-12-26
For those of you looking to learn more or get more out of your Bronco, check out our new discussion community Bronco Zone"

SO. If you want to respond for the Jeff's bronco graveyard do so on their behalf. But don't come here with your biased kiss azz goals and tell someone who feels they were wronged to be quite.

To be honest I disagree with the orginal poster.

But to come here and act like you are unconnected to the Jeff's is bs.

You seriously don't know me? I thought the whole bronco community knew that "Dana" = the webmaster for JBG. I would never in a million years try to pretend to not be affiliated with Jeff. BroncoZone is my project and is my username on this board, I'm sorry for not clearing this up in my post... I updated my sig with all the sites I manage so there are no secrets.

No I don't know you, and I appreciate you clearing it up.

As I said I disagreed with orginal poster and wrote in my post that I was eventually satisfied (JBG pick up your mail).

Gotcha, and about that one. It's about a half hour round trip to the post office so when Jeff is super busy he has a hard time getting there every day. Glad it all got worked out and your happy now.
