I just bought a turn signal cam from WH a week ago. I thought it was the wrong switch, because mine was so butchered that I didn't realize it was the right thing. But they also told me, that the only difference between a 66-73 (I think) was the color of one wire, otherwise it was all the same. They also told me "hey, no problem, if it's not the right thing just let us know and we'll fix you up". I was happy to hear that, and they were very nice about it.
I have had good dealings with Jeff's in the past, but I've never had problems with an order. It's too bad, really.
Either way you look at it, they are not responsible for your shop guy for 2 reasons:
1. you should do the work yourself ;D
2. Whatever you do to get your truck worked on is your problem. You shouldn't have a guy waiting on parts anyways. "needing" to get it worked on is just being impatient, sorry. You could have waited until monday and had no problems. I don't see it as Jeff's...or anyone elses problem that you had your shop guy working overtime. Sometimes, parts places make mistakes, and you should account for that. Not saying that what they did is ok, but your shop/your work/your problem.
