I just bought a 76 bronco with a 302 and c4. Truck has wiring issues. Can i run a jumper wire to the coil to test run the engine. What does the Duraspark module do? Thanks!

Yes, battery + to coil +. That's how you "hotwire" a Bronco.
The module is your ignition trigger. I tells the coil when to send
energy to the distributor which then sends it to each spark plug.
If the module is bad, the engine won't fire. Others with more
experience will chime in.

Oh, and welcome to the site!

The module does the switching to fire the coil. You need to power it also.

And since you're working on a new-to-you rig, triple-check to make sure it's not in gear.
You never know when a PO might have bypassed a neutral-safety switch, or messed with shift linkages, as tests to see if they could get it to work.

Just wantin' everyone to come out of this adventure alive.
And with a relatively undamaged EB!;D
