Is there an easy way to determine which dana 30/44 that I have in my bronco by visually looking at the housing/cover etc....? thanks

D30's have smaller, oblong-looking chunks, and doesn't have ball joints, but king pins. If that doesn't help, see if there's a tag on there, D30's had a slightly different ratio than D44's (most all D44's were 3.54 or 4.09) If that doesn't help, shoot one of us a pic & we'll tell 'ya.
