I have a bikini top on my 76 bronco and want to wire a led light strip to where it comes on when I turn the light switch to have interior lighting. Can I tap into the stock light switch or do I need to add an aftermarket push button switch?

I'm trying to replace with dome light with a led light bar strip. Hope I'm asking that right

The dome light circuit on a 76 is pre-wired for a courtesy light. Look for a blue wire with a black stripe and a bullet connector. It should be around the middle of the dash. Just plug into that and it will work just like the dome light.

You also have the courtesy light up on the windshield frame, that plugged in to the light on the wiper cover in your later model Bronco. That light is turned on when you rotate the headlight knob all the way until it clicks.
