Anybody know which wires to cross to close the circuit to allow me to start my wagon at the solenoid? The ignition switch broke in half when I was removing my dash. Any ideas or help is appreciated. I only need to start it to drive across the street to my neighbors paint booth. It is a good grade uphill by the way, pushing it is out of the question.

Run a wire from the positive battery terminal to the + (BAT) side of the coil. That's like putting the key in RUN. Now jumper the BAT side of the starter solenoid to the little terminal next to it, the STArt terminal. This will energize the starter solenoid and turn the engine over. The only way to stop the engine is to remove the wire to the coil.

Obsesrve all safety precautions!

You mean you can't just rip a handful of wires out from under the dash, strike a couple together and drive off like they do in the movies? ;D

Only if they are stripped back with 4" of bare wire and throw a ton of sparks when you brush them against each other.
