After lowering my Bronco and going back to stock size tires, my Hydroboost has way too much stopping power. With the slightest touch I can lock them up and kiss the dash. I like my dash, but not that much. So, I'm going back to stock power brakes.
I'm including the following parts:
-Astro hydroboost unit with new seals installed from Pirate Jacks. Bracket modified to bolt to stock location by opening up the existing holes. Includes correct length push rod
-Master cylinder- less than a year old, just never painted it
-Russell fittings to convert to inverted flare hard line and stock hoses (over $100 in fittings)
-Hard line to steering box with fittings for box
-Pressure line to power steering pump
-Power steering pump with fitting added for dual return (no pulley). Pump is one year old from Advance Auto Parts, housing is 94 Mustang GT.
-Return hoses
-New Wilwood proportioning valve and hard lines to stock proportioning valve
-I'll even throw in the braided throttle cable that you will need since the existing mechanical throttle linkage won't clear the hydroboost.
Buyer pays shipping.

Intake is made by Spectre. Low-profile plenum. Filter is 4" K&N

Advance Auto Parts has them and currently has a 20% online sale going on.

So Mike you have had her on the road? Must feel good to drive it after all this time. Thats a great deal on the brake set up I am sure someone will scoop it up. If you are going back to totally stock I may have the stock power steering pump brackets and a pump for core if you want them let me know.

Well, I finally had it on the road for a minute. But, for some reason, decided to clean up the interior. When I pulled the carpet I found the biggest mess you've ever seen. Inner fenders, quarters, and door jambs were completely rusted out. Previous owner did an amazing job of hiding it. (that's another story)

So, I tore it all apart and it's going back together. Should be back on the road by spring.

I have an extra core on the pump, so I'm in good shape. Thanks

Spectre also makes a cool inline air box if you want to pipe it out to fresh air.

Pm sent

I believe the pressure is handled more by the proportioning valve than the master cylinder. I could be wrong. You could find a Camaro disc/disc prop valve, or just tune it with the one I'm including.

I think this master cylinder was stock on a disc/drum vehicle.

A disc/drum cannot be used on a disc/disc set-up. The volume of the drum portion of the master cylinder reservoir is too small for the calipers and usually have a built in residual valve (which cannot be located unless you remove the hard line) which holds pressure in a drum set-up which would cause lock-up in a disc set-up. Even if removed the volume would still be too small.

My first pm didn't go through, but I'm interested in a better pic of the power steering pump to see if it will work for my application. Does it come with brackets to say hook up to a 289?

Thanks,
Brian

I believe the master is from a late 70's chevy truck, but can't be sure. I went through the parts store shelves and tried on quite a few before I found one that fit.
