I hate winter and so does my credit card.

Well since it's hard to find a warm weekend to work on the Bronco, I figure the next best thing is to stock pile parts for when it does warm up. Sadly it has been winter for over 2 months now so the parts are piling up and I just placed another order %)

The only thing I've been able to do to the Bronco since December is have my exhaust ran and put new tires on. It has since set due to lack of clearance issues with my tires on the rear. But that's soon to be fixed with the help of my latest order.

Went ahead and picked up a 2.5" suspension lift from Tom's. Coupled with my 1" Wild Horses body lift sitting in the corner I should become an official LUBR member before long. ;D

Then it's onto the several smaller pieces that have been piling up while at the same time nickel and diming me along the way.

Oh well, better days are around the corner when spring gets here when I can really enjoy it.

Be careful with the parts stockpiling-that's how people lose alternators.;)

Stock piling parts is good. I just put in a NP-435 trans in this fall that i had since january of last year. Put in a heater core and vent hose that I had for almost two years! Cant have enough spare parts!

Ha ha, I feel your guys' pain. I have had lots of my parts lying around for 2 years or more, but mostly just the used ones. My dad taught me at a very young age the expert craft of being a scrounger. I just about ran out of parts last weekend. My dad lets me use his heated shop anytime I want, I am just living at school. Being in school I also hear you guys on the no money thing. But she's finally painted and with a little luck it should be finished before the 4th of July. I just gotta scratch together enough dough for seat covers, carpet kit... et cetera ....

I added a full house sized oil fired furnace to my garage - best decision I have done in a while. Got to redo all the brakes yesterday, even with 24 inches of new snow!

That's ok, I called Tom's back today after they confirmed my shipping charges, I told them to tuck the invoice inside a box for I have my parts shipped to my girlfriend's office. That's the last thing she needs to see.

I wish I had a garage. Being in college, I rent an apartment. My Bronco is currently at my grandfather's building/giant garage about 30 minutes down the road. It's really nice and has enough room for a herd of Broncos, but no heat!

There's a couple of kerosene heaters, but that still doesn't lessen the pain when a wrench slips and shatters your knuckles into something.

My Remodeling business is a little slow right now so money is limiting me to only the essential projects, but with construction being slow I have the time.....and dont hate me today, I think it got to 70 degrees here in Havasu so the non heated shop isnt an issue either. Of course in july when it's 125 degrees I'll have the temperature issues.
