Water spraying out the defrost. That has got to be interesting. Pull the boot on the passenger footwell, the fresh air into the heater. Reach into the fender and clean out the goo. More than likely the drains are clogged and that lets water get into the heater box where the fan blows it out.

The other option is the base of the windshield is leaking and water is forcing it's way around the windshield frame looking like it is coming through the defroster.

Looks great, congrats! That would be tough to go buy that, and have to leave it somewhere else!!!

Good looking RIG! Glad you're getting all the bugs out, well maybe not all of them....You will be a good mechanic when the bugs are all out:p

Thanks, man. I'll have to come see your Bronco sometime, as I spend a lot of my weekends in Leavenworth.

Danny sorry about the issues you are having. Glad to know you are safe. First the engine was a a 302 that was installed in 2002 and rebuilt. As I'm sure you have learned these vehicles are fun toys to drive but not the best for long trips. The water has been an issue in the past as the cowling vents do not seal off from the elements. As a result water rushes right through. We kept the vehicle in a garage and had it line x for this reason. I hope everything works out for you.

Any updates on this Bronco? was just thinking about it the other day and stumbled across this thread just now.

Hope all is well.

Thanks for checking in.

Things are great with the Bronco. I fixed the oil spray issue (plugged the second dip stick tube) and the water issue (the seal behind the windshield hinge was missing).

Since then, I had a mechanic install a NV3550, four wheel disc brakes, 4 barrel intake, and new carb. I took a 750 mile road trip in it this summer to take it home, and it ran perfectly.

Since that time, I've changed the starter and am in the process of a 3G upgrade. Soon, I'll be replacing the headlights with a H4 kit.

Needless to say, it's been keeping me busy, but I could be happier.
