Installing a custom dash

I'm getting ready to install my BC Bronco dash, but I sold my original and I don't really see anything on the dash how to mount it. I looked at some pre-disassembly pictures and the old dash seem to have some "L" brackets on it. Any suggestions from people who mounted and aftermarket dash on how to bolt it in? Thanks.

The L-brackets would go to the kick panel and 2 tabs at the top corners to the A-pillar. There are 6-8 screws across the cowl but I would leave those out. 1 screw right in the middle to the random bracket. Other than that, the 2 windshield knobs are it.

Thanks. That's the problem. BC didn't come with any L brackets or tabs. And I didn't weld any onto their black before I painted it. I just have a sheet metal box basically.

If you want to use the “L” brackets, you still have a few choices; drill & add chrome plated button head allen head screws or paint them the same color as your dash. If you don’t want to drill holes in your new dash, you can use epoxy, or even better yet you can use 3M high bond tape or equivalent brand. HBT is not cheap, but it will hold. Just be careful where you place the HBT as you will not be able to move it after you mount them. Good luck

Thanks! For some reason I thought these brackets were welded on. I didn't realize they were bolted on. I probably have them in my pile of parts, but if not, I know where to get them.
