Out and about today - not raining. See how it blends in better than the orange white and blues?

Good looking rig. Too bad it doesn't have a Cactus Smasher!

My 1972 Sport with Stroppe installed goodies. Still has bumper braces, GM power steering, roll bar, dual shock mounts. Also has signs of having a Stroppe installed C4 but someone removed that prior to my purchasing.

November '71 build.

Medium Mallard Metallic Green. Pretty damn close to Andrew's '73 if I recall correctly.

As far as I can tell (from a sticker inside the glovebox) it was first repainted this color in 1978 by El Monte Ford in El Monte, CA. This was likely due to some sort of accident as the front left fender shows no traces of the original green underneath.

A PO had it painted again some time on the mid-90s.

Yeah yeah yeah. I like how you act like its the first time you've seen pictures of it. At this point I'm sure my emails just go to your spam folder.

And thanks.

Oh there they all are! :) Thats one of the only "whole" pics I 've gotten of it tho....so I like it

You have all the steering wheels you need?

Okay, lets talk. No adapters. But I may have a wheel available for an original Baja going together :)

Keeping this thread going....another varying degree of Stroppe modification.

Well, my plans of taking Swamp Thing to Fabulous Fords in "Found under a tree in Florida" condition didn't pan out...
Thinking of starting to clean her up a bit, what do you guys think?
Should I knock the dust and crust off or leave it as is?
