Does anyone have (or even seen) a Koenig PTO that has output shafts to the front and rear of the Bronco? What does the shift pattern look like? Is it a twin stick shifter? Photos of the pto and rear driven attachments would be nice.

Have not seen it, but heard about it. Apparently the rear PTO is for the tow truck winch. I am sure there were other applications as well.

What you can do is try to spin the output shafts by hand. move each shift lever and check again. This will tell you when each lever puts each shaft into gear.

Mine is forward facing for the front winch, but here is a pic :)

In this pic you can see the forward facing part of my PTO and the shaft hanging down... I have more pics of the winch but they are on my lap top. I will post some later.. If I remember right, they were pushing the early heeps with rear pto to operate farm implements, I wonder if Ford tried something similar? I love my PTO winch...

Since my original post on this thread, I too now have a PTO with both front and rear output shafts. Both shafts turn at the same time when engaged. Same shifter as front output only. Still waiting on info and pics on rear driven attachments for the Bronco PTO.

Cajun's correct about the farm implements. I'm pretty sure ford did the same thing at some point. I could swear that i've read info or seen pics of things like augers that attach on the rear bumpers for drilling post-holes. I have a koenig winch, but only front drive. I think both PTO's have a similar housing and just cover the unused rear drive outlet with a plate.

oooh--just noticed i have to re-up for contributor!
