Total time about 6 years - working on it on and off. The primer gray is my original. After two other parts Broncos, I made one baby blue Bronco (with LOTS of help)!

I just bought another '73 last Friday to start a new project!

I bought mine in October of 1996, it remained virtually untouched until about 3 years ago (it was my daily driver) the only changes I made on it in those years was adding the 31's and the roof rack.

It looks like this now:

That's OK, Jason...remember, your AFTER picture will be someone's BEFORE picture someday. ;D ;D ;D

Still some more to go...
-15x8 American Racing wheels (wish I could afford "old school" slotted mags!)
-Wiper linkage and arms
-Install the doors
-Paint the rear bumper
-New shocks. The cheap yellow Monroe 19.95 specials are jaring my fillings loose!
-Emergency Brake

Mark Troy, What bumper is that and where can I find it? Me like!

My rig hasn't been through much of a transformation at first glance but I have been fixing bugs and removing the previous owners' garbage for the last 8 months.

My efforts paid off with a succesful trail run in some very wet and nasty conditions this past Saturday.

before and after pics

Here is a couple of mine, for the purist there was a fair amount of rust of the rear quarters so it made the decision easier to cut it.
ARB,aussie locker, 4.56 gears, twin shifter, ZF 5 speed, yada,yada, yada ;D

Ken, made a bunch of those bumpers for the mass buy right after moving his family to another town. I heard he sold his personal bronco and may have gotten out of it altogether? I am little ashamed, I knew him well when I lived down that way but haven't talk to him in some time. Anyway, I hope he is still making the bumpers they were sweet!

I meet Ken a while back, and at that time he still had a blue '77 that was his daughters, but he too sold that one a little later. I think he was going into business for him self and didnt have any extra time for the broncos. He did have a non-complete front bumper in the corner of his shop....but wouldn't let it go;D Nice guy he is ...hope he gets another.Chuck
