Here's a picture of mine before I finished installing of all my switches and other goodies. Relocated glove box and speaker grill to allow the glove box door to open with rollcage. Cut out hole for modern stereo, added switches, etc.

Nice work! Looks like it came from the factory that way.

mine

I have a hinged door on the bottom that gives access to all the fusues, relays, and flashers in one place. Front panel is same look as glove box and un bolts to give access to the back of the fuse box and all the controls.

Steering column is from 82 S-10, wheel is camaro, and horn button is from an old ford lighting truck. I always liked the gear and lighting. The high beam, turn signals and cruise all work from the setting column.

None of these are the finished project but kinda a idea. I put vents in the dash (Big squares on ends) also cause it gets cold in Az sometimes. Also did that little center box for additional vents, and radio.

Here's mine. Designed and built the dash myself. But the best thing I did was to have it wired by a super professional, Mike at All Ways Hot Rods in Phoenix. What he did was isolate the dash via 2 connectors on either side so that it can come completely out without having to undo all the switches, wiring, etc. I have since heard of others that have done same thing.

Not trying to hijack the thread but where did you get the "Bronco" floor mats?

Here are some shots of mine,
I have some details on how to lengthen the stock heater controls so you can put them pretty much anywhere you want.

I hand laid the carbon fiber inlet. I still have to add a couple things, turn signal indicators and a high beam indicator but its pretty much done. I also bought one of the painless gloveboxes and the aftermarket fuse box that fits their cutout.

I would love to scrap this dash and build a new one with a Racepac digital display, I just don't know what I would do with all the extra space?

Old thread resurrection! I'm looking for dash ideas.
What I'd like to have on the dash....
-stock speedo in stock location
-key switch, headlight switch, wiper switch(all stock)
-tach ~3" diameter
-standard single din stereo head unit
-oval shaped Vintage Air A/C controls
-3 round vents for A/C & Heat
-stock glovebox possibly shifted to the left
-12v socket

I have looked at a lot of pics here for ideas and haven't quite seen one done with all that on the dash. There is room, but I'm struggling with how to balance everything out.

What I currently have laid out on my dash now is.....
-key, lights, & wiper switches vertically in a row on the right side of the steering column.
-Speedo in stock location on left side of column.
-Stereo head unit and V.A. Oval shaped controls in the center of the dash...stereo on bottom and V.A. above it. With stereo and V.A. controls centered and stacked...they're accessible to both driver and passenger without struggling to reach.

-My biggest hurdles are the 3 vents & the tach. They take a lot of room and with the defrost vent inlet on the back side of the dash, there is valuable un-useable dash real estate where those tubes go to the defrost plenum.

Hopefully this old thread revive will coax out a few more dash layout options. TIA

Here are a few of my dash layout. I got rid of the speaker grill and moved the glovebox to the left to allow for the AC vent on the right and moved the wiper control over.

You dash looks awesome! That layout is very similar to what I have in mind, other than the vents. I'm trying to go with round vents to keep the round theme going....big round speedo, round tach, oval A/C controls, etc. ;)

heres one of mine after I got done with it. I moved the glove box 6" removed the ash tray and the speaker. It didn't have a radio so I didn't have to fix that. It's a nice clean look I think.
