NicksTrix- the maroon and orange dashes are awesome in pics 1 and 2. Do you have measurements for that dash? Hoe far did you move the glove box over?

BBernie, I really like the look of your dash, especially the gauges you used.

Has anyone messed around with trying to pivot aftermarket gauges slightly, so that they face the driver a little, rather than being flush to the dash panel?

Dash angle

There was a post I recall a while back that someone did angle their gauges , I did a quick search, could not find the thread.

B Bronco I too like your set up .. But I've been planning mine in 3 sections so the flat panels can come off one at a time . I too like the ideal of the gauges tilting toward the driver.
.... Good Post guys .. I'm amazed at some of the work you guys can turn out.

Here is what I did with mine! The center section is removable to get to the back of the gauges.

Thanks guys! Made a few mistakes but finally got it right. ;D

ObscureMachine,

The color of the truck is the Burnt Orange that you see on many of the newer cars today. Honda had a similar color. So did Nissan, Dodge, Chevy, etc.

Technically, it is supposed to be LeMans Sunset Metallic that Nissan was painting the 350Z but I don't think that is the color he used. Still like it though.

I'm glad this thread was resurrected! Those are some really nice looking and functional dashes. I wanted to keep mine mostly stock looking but a little enhanced. Now I'm wishing I hadn't. I really like the access panels and the a/c vents.

I added some extra lighters where the radio cutout was so I can power a GPS, radar detector, cell phone, all at once. My stereo spot is in the center console. I still have the speaker grill with no use for it. Maybe add a larger speaker for the CB or something. Anyway, nice work everyone. Here's mine...

Here are a few of my dash layout. I got rid of the speaker grill and moved the glovebox to the left to allow for the AC vent on the right and moved the wiper control over.

Your dash looks sweet...great layout! That is really close to what I'm shooting for but I'd like to use round vents instead of rectangular. One question....how did you end up with 4 dash vents?

The BC Broncos A/C kit I have uses 3 dash vents as far as I know. The 3 vents are what I'm having a hard time placing and keeping visual balance on the dash.

Anyone out there with 3 round vents, stereo, oval A/C controls...all on a stock sized dash panel?
