A little description of the process of making tapered shims would be educational for some of us.
PM the photos to me and I will post them to this thread.

Just sent it to you. Thanks

Once a year we have to pay a small fee for posting pics. Sure it has to do with millions of terrabytes of storage. :)

Slotted to have variable camber adjustment I believe.
IE, at the extreme, if you put thickest part straight forward, you only change toe a tiny bit.

Correct.

I can officially claim "brain fog" this week as I'm on the sofa having fun with Covid.

And on the six bolt '79 spindle, the bolt holes are not even, the top two are 3.5 inches apart, all others are 3 inches. the slots allow either right or left placement.....

This is not a good week to have to read paperwork or sign official documents. lol
I wrote up an article for BroncoDriver and I think I need to proof-read it again... in few days maybe!! :)

Both the 6 and 8 also have a different bolt circle diameter than our "5" ?

Agreed, that's why part of my earlier "foogy" post was correct. Not all ofnit tho! lol
I have several styles that don't fit my D60 or any 44.

Saving them for whatever the next build might
need.

What's an 8? Did I miss something during the conversation and someone's got an 8-bolt spindle? Or are you referring to the wheel bolt pattern?
Given the members in this discussion, an 8 on 6.5 wheel bolt pattern is a definite possibility!
For spindles though, the 6-bolt drum spindle absolutely has a different diameter and register depth than the larger 5-bolt disc spindle.
Just not sure about an 8-bolt spindle if that's what you meant.

Not sure which '79 spindle reamer is referring to either, but normal F150/Bronco disc spindles should be the same 5-bolt version as the '76/'77 Bronco disc spindles. Might have offset holes, but there are only five. Well, at least that I was aware of. As usual, open to learning more about, well, just more. :D

Be interested in hearing more about both!

International Scout site list camber shims with 6 & 8 bolt patterns.
As I recall the ID and OD are different than the Bronco D44 disc brake knuckles, otherwise I would have bought some and made them work with the 5 bolt spindle.
