Made my Camber shim available

Yes the '79 Bronco donor has five holes but, on the right side the two with the 3.5" spacing are orientated towards 11 o'clock. On the left they are orientated towards 1 o' clock. In other words the larger spacing is always pointing at the firewall...

International Scout site list camber shims with 6 & 8 bolt patterns.
As I recall the ID and OD are different than the Bronco D44 disc brake knuckles, otherwise I would have bought some and made them work with the 5 bolt spindle.

Yes, I am trying to nail down those numbers for histories sake.

Installed it today, Originally Left Front Camber was 0.7 degrees, Right Front was 1.2 degrees......Now Left Front is 0.7 and new Right Front is now 0.6 only 0.1 difference between them!

So my new alignment numbers are in...Old was 0.6 degrees left and1.2 degrees right, New numbers 0.6 degrees left and 0.7 degrees right Beautiful! Now that I know it fits and did the correction. I am making them available to YOU!

And on the six bolt '79 spindle, the bolt holes are not even, the top two are 3.5 inches apart, all others are 3 inches. the slots allow either right or left placement.....

That's some good out-of-the-box thinking!

I need the disk ones. 5 holes. the slotted ones are nice because you can rotate them some. I just built the front end. I will be installing ball joints setting the spindles today / tomorrow. I will get a better idea of what I need when I get this done. Hopefully I won't need any. Also I will be glad to pay you for them. You worked hard to make them. You should get paid. I was happy to help.

Knowing the exact numbers does make it easier to set up because you just put the shim on in one direction and done.
However, if you make it to the maximum available, for example 1.5°, you can still set it up to your precise needs for camber based on rotation.
And then just readjust your toe-in if necessary.

Of course keeping the angle to the bare minimum would help keep the spindle and fasteners at minimal misalignment angles.

Giving more advantage to just making them to suit a particular vehicle.

Well I got the axle all put together. This is the 76 f100 high pinion that I cut down to early bronco width. Well I put my fancy digital level on the rotor disk and both sides read -0- So I am thinking I got lucky and don't need any additional shimming. I did use the caster / camber offset bushings when I was putting it together. One side I used .50 and the other 1.25. So I did do some adjusting but I think I am good. Thanks so much for your offer to build me some. That was nice of you. So for now I am good- enough.

DirtDonk's suggestion to make one size fit all is a good one. I think the 5 hole Ford F150/Bronco disc spindles and the '76/'77 Bronco disc spindles disc shims are the ones that are unobtainable from anywhere. The others are available. If you figure out the cost of what it takes for you the make them and then add a profit on for you, I'm sure you would definitely have a market to sell them to us Ford guys. The volume may not be huge, but it would be a blessing to the guys that need to correct the camber the right way.

Paull, wouldn't be the other way around? if you have bad alignment numbers it was never aligned correctly before weld-up at the factory correctly, (caster more that camber issues) but
ever notice when changing out pads, they were worn top of one and the bottom of the other? that's factory mis-alignment. Caster shim gets the disk perpendicular to the axle tube and brake ears...
