Dave, who did your manual valve body work? If you did, will it work on a 88 aod?? That's the main reason I don't have it in mine is because second gear is not controlled.

Manual valve body

Bart, it was done by the owners son (Jay) at Barstow Lenwood Transmission. I have no idea if it will work on an AOD. This is in ac-4 in my EB. I've been having problems with it lately & I'm trying to get some help with it but nobody seems to know anything about the Transgo manual shift kit. Jay moved to Utah & I can't get ahold of him. I rebuilt the trans myself recently & can't seem to get it to work. I've pulled it out & put it back 4 times in 2 days. The first time I had the valve body all apart & left it unattended for lunch & my 10 year old son decided to play mechanic & mixed all the spings & valves up. He may nt see 11. The last time I had it together I had a good solid reverse & third but it sliped in first & second with a real slow sloppy shift. I'm thinking real serious about putting in the c-6 I've got but I need manual shift v-b directions first.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
